From the bus stop in Eberfing, the trail leads in a southerly direction through the village. After crossing the Weidenbach stream, it heads out of the village in the direction of Schellenberg. Walkers soon enjoy a magnificent mountain view. The flat Schellenberg is crossed on wide forest paths. Around its highest point there is a magnificent view - to the west over Eberfing to the Hoher Peißenberg and to the south to the Alps. The route leads along the eastern edge of the village back to Eberfing.
