Via Damasia - Die Römer am Auerberg

Join Crispus, our young Roman friend, on his ascent! The adventure trail is around four kilometers long and leads through the Feuersteinschlucht gorge and along the Jägersteig trail up to the Roman settlement of Damasia. Numerous little adventures with exciting information await you at seven adventure stations. Would you like to see wild animals, meet the water spirits or find out where the oysters on the Auerberg come from? Follow the milestones! The average walking time along the Via Damasia is around 1½ hours.

You will then find yourself in Damasia on the Auerberg. Here you accompany Crispus on his adventures. Two circular routes give you an insight into the oldest Roman village settlement in Bavaria. Look through historical windows into the Roman past and try out Roman games. Are you curious about what the ramparts looked like?
