Wald- und Weiherschleife

After climbing up to the most beautiful terrace in Penzberg, we are greeted by a magnificent Alpine panorama that will accompany us on the entire tour. From the Berghalde, we take a forest path to Reindl. A historical monument awaits us in Nantesbuch. The yellow tower of the 19th century Maria Himmelfahrt church can be seen from afar. At Oberhof there is a magnificent panoramic view that will amaze hikers. From there, we come to a number of idyllic lakes. At Gut Hub, you should take time to walk along the barefoot path, especially if you are traveling with young hikers. We walk past the Hub Chapel back to Penzberg, where we follow the railroad tracks to the starting point.

Author's tip: The themed trail on mining and the nature experience trail on the Berghalde in Penzberg are integrated into the tour! The Cafe Extra on the barefoot path is ideal for a break.

Safety information: Be careful when crossing the busy St2063 in Kirnberg.
