Talsenken + Bergrücken = Frankenwald (KU 3)

Route description: Varied mountain-valley route for sporty and nature-loving cyclists. From the resort of Stadtsteinach (or from any other town on the route) along a shady road through the romantic Steinachklamm gorge and a steep climb to Triebenreuth and Guttenberg, cyclists can experience the unspoilt nature park landscape of the southern Franconian Forest. Through the small town of Kupferberg and the climatic health resort of Wirsberg, you reach the historic mining sites. Via the charming Franconian Forest towns of Ludwigschorgast and Untersteinach, you return to Stadtsteinach along the Fränkische Linie. The KU 3 circular cycle route runs through the Franconian Forest Nature Park.
