Rundtour im Süden Kronachs (KC 12)*

Route route: Kronach, Neuses, Johannisthal, Küps, Oberlangenstadt, underpass B173, Küps, Au, Hummendorf, Neuses, Kronach (*)

Route description: Starting from the train station in Kronach, we keep slightly to the right on the cycle path towards Neuses. Cycle south along the Haßlach river to the Schwarzer Steg. After crossing the footbridge, we keep to the right and, passing the Plessiturm tower, reach the Landesgartenschaupark Kronach, which we cycle through completely and at the end reach the cycle path to Neuses. Shortly before Neuses, cross the cycle and pedestrian bridge over the Rodach at the Zollscherwehr. After passing through the rafting village of Neuses, follow the cycle path signposts towards Coburg at the end of the village. After crossing the bridge over the railroad, you will reach an underpass under the main road shortly before Johannisthal, which leads to the entrance to Johannsithals. Then turn left onto the local road through Johannisthal and at the end of the village take the cycle path to Küps, past the railroad station and continue south on local roads to the district of Oberlangenstadt. In the center of the village, turn left past Oberlangenstadt Castle. Shortly afterwards, the route crosses the B 173 main road (underpass). At the cemetery, turn left back to Küps. Cycle along cycle paths and roads with little traffic from Küps via Au to Hummendorf back to Neuses and from there back to the southern entrance to the Kronach State Garden Show grounds. We cycle through the park until we reach the northern entrance, at the Plessiturm, where we turn left onto the Schwarzer Steg. After crossing the bridge, the cycle path leads along the Haßlach back to Kroinach station.
