In the large forest area near Langerwehe, Franz-Josef Frings probably knows every branch on the route to Laufenburg. The 71-year-old is chairman of the local Eifel club and puts on his walking shoes as often as possible. He recommends a route that follows the so-called 'forest-water meadow path' and allows a break halfway in Laufenburg.
