Stage 5 of the bicycle trekking tour from Moorsel to Flims (Switzerland) in 13 stages.
This stage is entirely on bicycle paths alongside rivers. It starts off in Luxembourg along the Sûre river, when crossing the border with Germany it follows the Mosel river and shortly after starts following the Saar river until Mettlach. Make sure to pay a short visit to the beautiful town of Saarburg on the way to Mettlach.
Hotel Gästehaus Schloss Saareck in Mettlach is a very exclusive and romantic place to spend the night.
