We did this super beautiful walk on 24/06/2025 (14,025 steps).
Parking is a bit tricky in Übereisenbach; we parked at the free parking lot by the bridge in Untereisenbach. Then there is a small approach route added.
Markings in both directions number 32. All the hikes from Naturpark Südeifel that we have done so far are real gems. This one also has a high XXX-wow factor. This is a hike that one 'must' do when staying in the region.
The route mostly goes through the stately forests and beautiful nature located between the Our and Irsen valleys. Regularly, one gets a glimpse of the surroundings. Just enough to be curious about the next view. The walk is so varied that one never gets bored. With a bit of luck, one might see the black stork.
