Wurmtal and Haldenroute

The starting and ending point of the tour is the parking lot of the Broichbachtal recreational area on Dammstr. in Herzogenrath. Through the junctions 18 / 20, we circle around Burg Rode to junction 22 – 42 -35 -36 – 62 – 63 – 1 always along the Wurm. At junction 8, we leave the Wurm and take a detour to the Loherhof Golf and Sports Park, cycling over Prümmern to junction 7 in Immendorf. We then continue over Appweiler to junction 51 to Puffendorf and via junction 50 (Berghalde Emil Mayrisch) to Setterich. We continue to Baesweiler via junction 56, with a small detour to the windmill to junction 54 (Berghalde Carl Alexander). Then through junctions 31 – 30 – 29 (Grube Adolfpark) – 27 – 25 until we reach the parking lot of the Broichbachtal recreational area and the endpoint of the route just before junction 18. The route is mostly car-free, and the paths are paved / maintained except for short stretches along the Wurm, and in good condition.
