Stolberg Dwarf Route

To begin with, one should only tackle the route with a trekking bike with good tires or a mountain bike, as many field and forest agricultural paths are used. The route is also physically demanding, unless you are riding an e-bike.
We start from the Pennymarkt in Breinig, Stockemerstr. heading towards Hahn. After crossing the L12, we turn left after about 200 m and ride parallel to the L12 until we turn left into Am Bachweg and hit the L12, which we follow left for about 200 m before turning right into Rainweg. We follow Rainweg to the end, turn left, and follow the forest path to junction 1 at L24. Now we unfortunately have to follow the heavily traveled L24 through Zweifall, but escape from L24 via Kornbendstr. to rejoin L24 after about 200 m, following the forest path to Hasselbach. At junction 3, we meet L24 one last time, follow it right for about 100 m, and turn left into Hürtgenwald to junction 4 on Spießweg, always heading towards Schvenhütte. We follow the forest agricultural path to a 5-way forest intersection, where we turn sharply right. After about 1 km, we turn right into the footpath to the dam of the Wehebachtalsperre. We continue following the signs to Schevenhütte, cross the village, and follow the L12 to Gressenich. There we turn left onto Rottstr., cross the L12 at "Auf der Eiche", and follow the subsequent field path to Werth. Through "Am Kaltenborn" and Schillerstr., we leave Werth behind, cross the L11 to Scherpenseel at junction 89. We turn left to Hastenrath, right onto L11, left onto K6, and right into "Killewittchen", along Bohler Heide onto the hiking trail along Birkengangstr. left to "Am Kottbruch" continuing through the forest, 1x right, 1x left to Duffenerstrasse, turn right and follow Duffernstr., Saarstr., and Hastenratherstr. until we reach the old town of Stolberg. There we follow right through the pedestrian zone (Steinweg), Rathausstr., Salmweg, and Eisenbahnstr. until we reach Lidl and Aldi, turn sharply left and climb via some serpentines up Kohlbuschweg, then left-right-right into Spinnereiweg until Hammerstr., then left and after 100 m again left into the nature reserve Münsterbusch and Branderwald always along the Inde until we cross the L220 and follow K22 for about 800 m, then turn right into "Im Priesterland", meeting K13 via "Fuchskaul". We turn left onto K13, cross the traffic lights, and reach the tour's end at the parking lot of the Pennymarkt.
