The Gehau Forest Educational Trail in Markdorf is a relaxing 2.5-kilometer circular hike that takes you through the peaceful nature of the hinterland of Lake Constance between Salem and Markdorf. On this easy route, which is mostly car-free, you can enjoy the beauty of the surroundings and leave the stress of everyday life behind. The trail is well-marked and leads you through a largely untouched natural landscape while you pass the charming village of Riedern. The terrain is predominantly unpaved, providing you with an authentic nature experience. Let yourself be inspired by the diversity of flora and fauna and enjoy the fresh air in this idyllic setting.
