On the Gelnhausen Round Trail No. 3, you will experience a varied hike through the beautiful nature of Hesse. This 9.4-kilometer-long route is not only moderately challenging but also offers stunning views as you ascend a total of 231 meters. The path is fully marked and takes you in a lovely loop through the surroundings of Gelnhausen. Along the way, you can admire the historic Imperial Palace of Gelnhausen and discover the impressive St. Peter's Church. The route is mostly car-free and often unpaved, allowing for an intense nature experience. Perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy the tranquility of nature while also experiencing a bit of history.
