From Hellendorf, we walk through quaint forests and passages with very beautiful views towards Tünsdorf. The path mostly leads along trails past streams and a very idyllic forest pond with a sensory bench. Shortly before Tünsdorf, we must overcome 50 meters of ascent to then be rewarded with a magnificent view. After passing Tünsdorf, we go slightly downhill into the Steinbachtal nature reserve. At the Neumühle meditation center, we pass a waterfall. The passage through the wild and romantic Steinbachtal is one of the highlights of this stage. After the ascent from the Steinbachtal, we traverse an open, agricultural landscape with wide views. At the natural monument "Orkelsfels," we have reached Orscholz. The path leads along the edge of the village to the "Cloef-Atrium" with tourist information, dining options, and exhibitions. From there, it is still 500 meters to the famous panoramic view of the Saarschleife. We now slowly descend, repeatedly interrupted by magnificent views of the narrow valley of the Saarschleife, along spectacular paths, to our stage destination in Mettlach. There are numerous sights and a large selection of restaurants. From Mettlach, boat trips are offered in the Saarschleife.
