Click here for the daily program! This is part 2, Baugnez-Vaals, of the Vélopalise Bastogne-Wageningen, a six-day cycling tour focused on peace, freedom, and security. The Vélopalise starts in Normandy at Sainte Mère Église and follows the Voie de la Liberté to Bastogne in the Belgian Ardennes.
On this day, the route mostly follows the Vennbahn, offering expansive views with no notable climbs, along with a pleasant passage through the imperial city of "Aachen".
Along the way, we pass remnants of the tank obstacles from the "Westwall" and defensive structures along the Schneebergweg.
