On this walk, you will experience in an impressive way how the city and nature in Monschau form a harmonious, seamlessly merging unit. Because that's not why they both have the same "family tree". From the hikers' car park, the trail first descends into the Rosental. Former factory and administration buildings shape its character. They bear witness to the time when Monschau was one of the leading cloth weaving towns in Germany.
