Description by the author

Augsburg is a southern German city about 70 kilometers northwest of Munich. The history of the city dates back to Roman times when it was founded as Augusta Vindelicum. The city has undergone a major evolution since that period and a whole lot of squares, buildings and monuments bear witnes to that. These sights are all visited during this walk and these include the Augsburger Dom, the Rathausplatz, the Weberhaus, ... and a whole range of other enchanting locations.
