Description by the author

Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a southern German city located just 14 kilometers from the Austrian border. Due to its location in the Alps and especially in the vicinity of Germany's highest peak the Zugspitse, the city is best known for its vast ski area. Garmisch-Partenkirchen, of course, has much more to offer than that, and that of course will be shown during this walk. Sights such as the Ludwigstrasse, the Pfarrkirche St. Martin and the Kurpark are just a few of the many gems that will be visited during the walk.
