Description by the author

Metzingen is a town known for two types of industry: clothing and viticulture. The city lies within the wine region of Württemberg. Along this walk you will find, among other things, the Weinbaumuseum, a museum entirely devoted to viticulture in the region. The route also goes to the top of the Weinberg. The climb goes between the vineyards, and on top of the mountain you have a beautiful view over the town and the surroundings. The walk starts and ends at the Metzingen train station.
