Description by the author

Lübeck is a Hanseatic city along the Trave, which flows into the Baltic Sea not far from the city center. This city walk takes you along the most important sights of the city including the Marienkirche, the Holstentor and the Buddenbrookhaus. Part of the route goes along the banks of the city canals and the Trave, where you can relax or have a picnic. The eight-kilometer city walk starts and ends at Lübeck train station.
