Königstein im Taunus is a West German city located about 20 kilometers northwest of Frankfurt am Main. The city has a historic center with a lot of houses that are still made of wood, which makes it unique in its kind. In addition, the ruins of the castle that overlooks the Altstadt are also definitely worth a visit, and this walk of course ensures that you walk past them during the tour. A trip to Königstein is certainly worth it!
