Description by the author

Würzburg is a city on the Main, located in the state of Bavaria. The most famous sights are the 18th century palace, the Marienberg fort and the old bridge over the Main. Discover them all along this walk. One of the lesser known highlights along this route is the Wallfahrtskirche. A long staircase takes you to the top of the hill, where you have a beautiful view of the city. The 11 km route starts and ends at the Würzburg Hauptbahnhof station.
