Trier, located in Rhineland-Palatinate on the River Moselle, is the oldest city in Germany. This cycle route starts at Trier train station. The first part of the route goes over the banks of the Moselle to Feyen. The second and most difficult part goes from Feyen to Korlingen. Prepare for a steep climb over the Galgenkopf. The last part goes back to Trier, along the Ruwer valley.
