Where in the Middle Ages forests were cleared to serve as a meadow for hay, nowadays hikers can take a dip in a golden sea of daffodils. But also in the other months the tour through the protected nature reserve Perlenbach and Fuhrtsbachtal offers impressive nature experiences, because this landscape is the habitat of many endangered animal and plant species. Other highlights along the way: the Perlbach reservoir, a Westwall bunker and the exhibition in the Höfen National Park gate.
