Munich counterclockwise

Beautiful, varied tour through Munich.

You see or pass: the Isar, the English Garden, Schwabing, the Olympic Park, the Nymphenburg-Biederstein Canal, Nymphenburg Palace, the Hirschgarten, Circus Krone, Hacker Bridge, the Wiesn, Sendlinger Tor, the Viktualienmarkt (detour to Marienplatz possible), and the German Museum. Note: at Hacker Bridge you have to push down a staircase with your bike like all Munich cyclists.

Here is the route in short description:
St. Lukas Church, Mariannen Bridge, cable footbridge. Along the Auer Mühlbach and the Isar to the Max-Joseph Bridge, then left through Tivolistrasse into the English Garden to the Chinese Tower. Out of the English Garden over Königinstrasse to the right and further left over Maria-Josepha-Strasse, Nikolaistrasse to Hohenzollernstrasse. Cross Ackermannstrasse via Clemensstrasse, Saarstrasse. Follow Rudolf-Habig-Weg to the Olympic Lake. Then left along the Willi-Gebhardt shore by the Nymphenburg-Biederstein Canal to Menzinger Strasse. Left and before the bridge, right into the Northern Ramp Allee to the palace. Around the palace garden counterclockwise to the Hirschgartenallee, then right through the Hirschgarten, cross Arnulfstrasse and into Wendl-Dietrich-Strasse. Follow this to Rotkreuzplatz and turn right into Nymphenburger Strasse. Before Stiglmaierplatz, turn right over Pappenheimerstrasse and cross Mars and Arnulfstrasse. Cross Hacker Bridge down to Theresienwiese. Left over Bavariaring and continue over Beethovenstrasse, Goethestraße, and Lindwurmstraße to Sendlinger Tor. Over Oberanger and Rosental to Viktualienmarkt. Continue via Tal, Isartorplatz, over Ludwig Bridge over the Isar. Then left into Zellstrasse to the cable footbridge. Then left over the Isar back to St. Lukas Church.
