Mountain bike trail without technical difficulties. The first part of the route runs on well-maintained forest and field paths and about 4 km of asphalt. The second part runs on a bike path that was built on an old railway bed. Departure and arrival can take place at the Pirka campsite (near Viechtach). Apart from the 4 km of asphalt in the first part of the trail, everything is practically car-free. The Höllensteinsee and the Blaibachersee are parts of the Schwarzen Regen, which has been dammed at various points.
