History stations Dorsten-Hardt and -Östrich

They start at Dorsten station on the east side of Europaplatz. Past an American specialty restaurant, you cross the Willy Brandt Ring and go straight ahead to the Südwall, which is named Gahlener Straße in the further course. Turn left into Alte Postweg and drive to the Dorsten District Court. Next to the car park entrance you will find the
History Station 35 Justice at the District Court.

There is also a good gastronomic offer in the vicinity of the district court. Return via the "Alter Postweg" to the right until you reach "Goethestraße" and turn right again on "Clemens-August-Straße" to "Hülskampweg" and continue as "Pfarrer Wilhelm-Schmitz-Straße" to the main entrance to the
History Station 25 Elisabeth Hospital.

Continue to the left on "Pfarrer-Wilhelm-Schmitz-Straße" and cross "Gahlener Straße". On the cycle and footpath along the "Gahlener Straße" you then continue past the sports fields of the SV-Hard to the continuation of the "Gahlener Straße" as a side street in the area of the "Bestener Straße". At the corner of "Gahlener Straße" / "Fährstraße" you will find the
Geschichtsstation 18 Hardt.

Follow "Gahlener Straße" and then turn left onto "Lehmbergstraße" via the A31 motorway. When you arrive on the "Hardtstraße", you will see the
Geschichtsstation 13 Hardtberg.

On the "Hardtstraße" you go into the district of Östrich until you reach the "Gahlener Straße", which you follow to the right. Before the canal bridge, the further path along the canal bank on the "canal path" then leads you to the right under the A31 motorway to the Dorsten e.V. rowing club and the
History station 02 Sport in Dorsten.

Continuing on the "Kanalweg" you will come back to the city center of Dorsten. In front of the shopping center, take the path left to Westwall and left again to the crossroads. There you drive into the city center and pass the historic market square onto Recklinghäuser Straße. At the end of the street you cross the ditch system. On the left behind the ice cream parlor you will find the
History Station 44 Town Partnerships.
