Bicycle Route "Aller", 265 km

An easy Aller bike route, flat land and beautiful sights. The route passes through the towns of Helmstedt, Wolfsburg, Gifhorn, and Celle until reaching Verden at the mouth of the Aller into the Weser. The starting point of the route is at Ovelgünne station, from where it is 6 km to the source of the Aller in Eggenstedt. The first overnight stop could be in Helmstedt (35 km) or Bad Helmstedt. The second section would suggest Wolfsburg (81 km) with the Autostadt as the next overnight stop. The route then continues to Celle (155 km) for a visit to the castle and an overnight stay in the town of half-timbered houses. An overnight stay in Bosse or Häuslingen near Rethem (220 km) would still be possible. After that, there is a small loop to the mouth of the Aller before returning to Verden (Aller), where a station is also available for departure.
