The hiking route Hochgehkeltert takes you through the impressive landscape of the Swabian Jura, near Neuffener Heide. Over 6.9 kilometers, you will experience a varied trail with a medium level of difficulty and a total of 360 meters in elevation. The route is continuously signposted and has the shape of a closed loop path. As you wander through the nearly untouched nature, you will pass landmarks such as Hohenneuffen Castle and Barnberghöhle. Here, you can not only enjoy the view of the beautiful surroundings but also the tranquility, as the trail is mostly car-free or even entirely car-free. The hike leads you through a natural habitat, far from urban hustle and bustle, and offers you the opportunity to fully enjoy the beauty of nature. A large part of the path is also unpaved, making the experience even more authentic.
