NOTE: The site is closed during the winter months from November 1 to April 1 and cannot be used during this period.
The shelter site is nicely isolated among bushes and trees, but at the same time only a few minutes' walk from the restaurant, ice cream shop, and smokehouse Den gamle Digegaard, where there are electrical outlets, a playground, and a petanque court that can be used. Close to the site, there is a public toilet, and during the season, there is a bathing jetty about 150 meters east of the site. The Lolland dike is one of the country's absolute best biking and hiking trails, with fantastic views of the Baltic Sea on one side and the flat Lolland on the other side.
