The Heart Path by Stauning's Ø and Jersie Strandpark is an excellent opportunity to exercise and experience beautiful natural scenery. Stauning's Ø is a sandbar that appears as a dune landscape with marram grass. Behind it are lagoon lakes with large reed forests and a rich bird life all year round, especially swans, geese, and ducks can be found here.
There are ideal bathing conditions and great opportunities to observe migratory birds and the changing of the seasons. There are walkways in several places over the lagoon lakes to Stauning's Ø, and you will find several entrances to the area from Jersie Strandvej. The route is recommended by the Heart Association, which is also responsible for any signage along the route.
