La Bajol[1][2][3] is a municipality in the comarca of Alt Empordà in the province of Girona in Catalonia, Spain.
Its terrain is rugged due to its proximity to the Pyrenees, with forests of cork oaks and chestnut trees, its 546 meters of altitude make it the highest town in the region.
