Alfafara is a municipality and locality in Spain's province of Alicante, in the Valencian Community. It is located in the comarca of Comtat. It has a total of 406 inhabitants.
Alfafara has an area of 20.41 km² and is situated in the northern part of the province of Alicante. It belongs to the comarca of Comtat. It is nestled at the foot of the Sierra Mariola, in the valley of Agres, between the Sierras of Agullent and Mariola, in the border area of the provinces of Alicante and Valencia. Its boundaries are to the North, Agullent and Onteniente; to the South and West, Bocairente and to the East, Agres.
