The Otxondo pass is a small Pyrenean port at an altitude of 602 meters, located north of Navarra, between Dancharinea and Elizondo, connecting the Baztán valley to France.
It is equipped with a rest and picnic area.
Bunkers can still be seen around this port, built by Franco out of fear of a possible Allied invasion.[2] Additionally, there are remnants of human occupation during the post-war period as well as a communications base of the U.S. Army during World War II.
