Sakya Tashi Ling was established in 1985 and became a Monastery in 1996, with its first location being the Palau Novella.
The site, located in the heart of the Garraf natural park, has hosted a Buddhist community since 1996 and is open to the public. A palace away from the noise.
The community offers meditation courses and introductions to Buddhism aimed at those who wish to start, as well as a cycle of studies and teachings on tantrayana for those who wish to delve deeper into Tibetan Buddhism. One of the main characteristics of the monastery is its openness to all sectors of society; therefore, the Private Foundation for the Preservation of Internal Values has recently been established, which organizes its activities into two major areas: teaching and cultural and social activities.
In the cultural realm, guided visits to the Palau Novella Museum are proposed, which showcase, on one hand, the heritage rooms of the pre-modernist palace of Plana Novella, as well as a collection of Tibetan art and culture.
