At the Museu d’Art Contemporani, contemporary art from the second half of the 20th century is exhibited. The building, designed by American architect Richard Meier, opened its doors in 1995 in the El Raval district. The city of Barcelona aimed to take the first step in revitalizing this neighborhood with this grand project.
