Puigcerdá[1] is a station on the R3 line of Rodalies de Catalunya that operates as a Media Distancia station. It is located in the homonymous municipality. It is part of the Ripoll-Puigcerdá line. It is one of the most important stations on the line due to its character as a border station. In the past, SNCF trains had arrived via the international gauge track that runs parallel to the Iberian gauge track, but now it is the R3 line that reaches Latour-de-Carol, from where you can transfer to the French rail network. In 2021 it registered the entry of 52,425 users, corresponding to commuter services,[2] which represents an increase of 26.03% over the previous year.
