Puigcerdá[1] is een station aan de R3-lijn van Rodalies de Catalunya dat functioneert als een Media Distancia. Het is gelegen in de gelijknamige gemeente. Het maakt deel uit van de lijn Ripoll-Puigcerdá. Het is een van de belangrijkste stations van de lijn vanwege zijn karakter als grensstation. Voorheen arriveerden er treinen van SNCF via het internationale spoor dat parallel loopt aan het Iberische spoor, maar momenteel is het de R3-lijn die tot Latour-de-Carol komt, vanwaar overstappen op het Franse spoorwegnet mogelijk is. In 2021 registreerde het station 52.425 gebruikers, wat overeenkomt met de buurtspoordiensten,[2] en dat vertegenwoordigt een stijging van 26,03% ten opzichte van het voorgaande jaar.
