The castle of Gérgal is a late medieval defensive construction located in the Andalusian municipality of Gérgal, province of Almería. Its strategic location to the northeast of the town, on one of the hills that form the foothills of the Sierra de los Filabres, provides wide views over the village and the rambla of Gérgal, and it is also protected to the north by the natural wall formed by the hill of Tablas.
