The Malniu Refuge is a mountain refuge owned by the municipality of Meranges, located southeast of Estany Sec, at 2,128 m of altitude, within the municipality of Meranges, in Cerdanya.
It was inaugurated in 1954. In 2015 some reforms were carried out to expand the bedrooms and the common room. The shelter has gone from having 20 places to 54. Dry toilets are also built inside the shelter and a comprehensive heating system with pellet stove.
