Sant Pau de Pinós, or Pinós de Biure, is a small village in the municipality of Santa Maria de Merlès. It is situated on a small mountain range, at the summit of the Pinós mountain range, at an altitude of 789 meters, on the borders between Bages and Berguedà. It is surrounded by the valleys of Gaià, Merlès, and Relat; to the left of the stream of Merlès.
