Arquedromo Militar de Pollensa is an air base of the Spanish Air Force in Pollensa. It entered service after the beginning of the civil war in 1937, it was initially called Base de Hidros de Pollensa. [1][2] It is located about ten kilometers east of the center of Pollensa, in the bay of Puerto de Pollensa. Its main mission is to serve as a social residence, search and rescue exercises as well as a base for the Canadair CL-215T and 415 aircraft of the 43 Group during the summer campaign for firefighting. [1]
