The Las Dueñas Peatland has 26 hectares located in the Asturian council of Cudillero near the village of Las Dueñas.
It is an example of peatland terrain, which is rare in coastal areas, as it is more abundant in mountainous regions. The vegetation is typical of a peatland, with mosses, carnivorous plants, marsh violet, and arnica. Notable fauna includes the presence of amphibians, insects, and reptiles.[1]
