Cala Mosques is a cove in the bay of Palma located within the municipality of Llucmajor, which is the natural mouth of the torrent of the same name. It has a water inlet of about 75 m between cliffs about 10 m high. At the bottom of the cove there is a beach of fine sand, about 35 m wide and about 45 m long. It is located within land that belonged to the possession of Son Verí de Baix and is currently surrounded by the houses of the urbanization of Cala Blava, name with which it is more widely known and that was chosen by the promoters of the urbanization in 1958 with the aim of offering a more attractive product, given the rejection that the original name could generate.
