The Old Church of the Arrabal, dedicated to the Holy Trinity, is a Romanesque church from the 12th century located in the Arrabal neighborhood in Salamanca.
It has three naves and features a plateresque altar carved from Villamayor stone. It was founded by a knight of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem and was occupied by Trinitarian monks and also served as a residence for Dominicans and enclosed nuns.[1] It is one of the few constructions near the river that survived the Flood of San Policarpo in 1626. This church is related to the old hermitage of Rocamador, where the hospital of Our Lady of Rocamador was also located.
