The castle of the Commendators of Añón is a military structure built between the 12th and 14th centuries in the current municipality of Añón de Moncayo, which belongs to the province of Zaragoza. It is part of the fortifications of the Huecha valley. Desde el siglo XII, Añón was the first Aragonese force against Castile on the Huecha route, a natural passage between the two kingdoms. At that time, it belonged to the Order of Saint John.
