The Coll de Rates[2] is a hill between the mountains of Ferrer and the Sierra del Carrascar de Parcent, dividing between the Valencian regions of the Marina Alta and the Marina Baja.
The hill is located at 628 meters high and runs the CV-715 road that connects Benidorm with Gandía passing through Pego. The municipalities of Parcent, Alcalalí and Tárbena converge in it.
