The Bernia mountain range is a mountainous group belonging to the Betic Cordilleras, specifically to the Pre-Betic Cordillera, and is located in the eastern part of Spain, in the province of Alicante.
The range extends about 11 km from west to east, perpendicular to the Mediterranean coast. The range has an area of 1900 hectares, distributed among the municipalities of Alcalalí, Jalón, Benisa, Calpe, Altea, Callosa de Ensarriá, and Tárbena.
