The parish church of La Asunción is located in the municipality of Andilla, in the province of Valencia. It is a religious building of Gothic origin, but it benefited from successive improvements from the late 15th century to the 18th century. Among the latter, the original main facade stands out, one of the first manifestations in Valencian lands of the purest Italian Renaissance from the mid-15th century, the magnificent main altar from the late 16th century, of which only the paintings of the doors that protected it remain today, painted by Ribalta in the early 17th century, and the 17th-century decoration typical of Valencian Baroque from this period.
