The Sierra Perenchiza, also called Pelenchisa[1] and in Valencian Serra Perenxisa, is a mountain range in the province of Valencia that extends from northwest to southeast over an approximate length of seven kilometers in an east-west direction and one kilometer in a north-south direction, across the municipalities of Torrente, Chiva, and Godelleta.[2] It constitutes one of the mountain foothills of the Iberian System that comes closest to the coast at the southeastern end.
