The Punta Silla lighthouse or San Vicente de la Barquera lighthouse is located in the Cantabrian town of San Vicente de la Barquera.
Its construction was included in the First Lighting Plan, under the reign of Isabella II, and it first went into operation on December 27, 1871. The building consists of a masonry tower, with a quadrangular prism shape and corners made of dressed stone. It is located on the north wall of a rectangular single-story house, which is now uninhabited. Originally, this house belonged to the lighthouse keeper, but existing automation allows it to be controlled remotely. The focal plane of the lighthouse is 43 meters above sea level, with the tower being 9.43 meters tall.
